This adventure (and the pictures) start in Noosa, Queensland where we hired a van and drove north to Agnes Waters & 1770. After 2 nights roughing it in the van, we splurged on a beautiful hand built cottage overlooking the bay at 1770 (named after the year that Captain Cook came ashore after landing in Botany Bay with Joseph Banks & Dr Solander, where they ate a giant Bustard Bird)…
We had such a great 4 days, but I’m definitely thinking twice about #vanlife – covered in bites and not much sleep! But I’m sure these can be overcome. A beautiful part of the world..
